The Swedish Postal Service

"Swedish architecture with an international hallmark”

The project – Co-ordination for the future
The Swedish Postal Service’s aim was to co-ordinate several offices under one roof in a new building. A number of architectural offices participated in the battle to design the new head office. The proposal, Thinktank from BSK architects finally won the prestigious contract.

The building, which is constructed on a hill, has a ground floor that follows the topography. The office plan consists of parallel ships with an intermediate atrium.

Lindelöfs was commissioned by the Swedish Postal Service purchasing for a turnkey project with regard to the interior design. The work with the Swedish Postal Service’s project group and architect began 18 months before the delivery was installed in place.
