“It's one thing to do cool things on paper”

The project – The World’s Office
Skype’s multi-award winning office in Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm has an interior with an international spirit. The employees in the office are from 26 different nations and the unique and award-winning look is not just a brand issue but also just as much an appeal issue. Lindelöf’s role has been to realise the imaginative and unique design concept formulated by the architects at pS Arkitektur.

A unique office and mandate
Lindelöfs has helped us to resolve all custom joinery issues such as bar counters and aesthetic solutions such as photo murals and various lighting installations. The office has around 50 different photo murals. The architects designed advanced specialist light fixtures in the form of clouds or bubbles, a reference to the customer’s logo. Lindelöfs made sure that these were possible to implement.

‘‘It is one thing to do cool things on paper, but it also needs to work in practice, and here Lindelöfs has done a very good job,’’ says the project architect.

Named one of the world’s 20 coolest offices in World’s Coolest Offices by Inc. Read about Skype’s office in Deezen Magazine.
